Photographers Comment: On this visit, I only photographed the castle from the other side of the
river, I was not aware before I went that a bridge now allowed access to
and from the other side, and did not have time in my plan to then explore and
take more photos. This was a winter visit on an overcast day, and I would like to
return and capture this castle during the summer and spend more time here. The images
give you an idea of layout, and serve as a recce for a later trip. This is a large castle and you need a wide angle lens to fit it in the frame
without having to have it lean backwards.
